How to Fully Assess your Cardiovascular Health – Public Talk

30th October | 3.00pm – 4.30pm | Raj’s Yoga School | Marion Road, Plympton Park

Cardiovascular disease is one of the biggest killers in the western world, however, it can be totally preventable when ALL the relevant factors are taken into account. This includes, not just cholesterol, but inflammation, vitamin D, exercise, diet, and genetic factors that may influence the nutrient status of key B vitamins.

So many times, doctors will focus on either total cholesterol or just LDL cholesterol, and when levels reach a certain level, they will prescribe a “Lipid Lowering Medication” or Statin drug to lower the LDL level. This however, DOES NOT LOWER THE RISK of a cardiovascular event, especially if diet and lifestyle are ignored.

Join Irene Schonberg (BHSc. Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine) for an in depth view of ALL the factors that you can control, to significantly reduce your risk of a cardiovascular event. This includes ALL the areas that can be measured in standard blood testing with your GP, as well as gaining the knowledge on all the cholesterol markers and how to identify the risk.

All material is fully documented and includes 2 x 7 day meal plans based around optimal cardiovascular health. There are also other resources and articles included, to provide you with the knowledge you need to take control of your health.
